Claire Isabelle Bousquet

Biographical information/Professional background

Claire Isabelle Bousquet was born in 1976 in Paris. She lives in Orléans where she teaches French literature. Passionate about art from a very young age, she draws and paints. Drawing and painting lessons since the age of six, interior design courses and several summer internships at the Beaux-Arts in Paris, such is the rhythm of her artistic life.

«Painting allows me to express my feelings through the harmony of shapes and colours.»

Her paintings express Absence, Loneliness but above all the insatiable search for an Ideal, a thirst for Peace and Freedom.

Passionate about architecture and photography, Claire has a great interest in framing, in the line that structures space, as well as in the perspective.

Her photographic paintings try to capture the moment, often fleeting, as if Time stopped.

In an apparently cold or urban environment one can find a hidden feminine hypersensitivity.

The French Arts Factory presents the artworks of the artist on the occasion of the exhibition “Verticalité” in July 2020.
