Jean-Pascal Lheureux

Biographical information/Professional background

After woodworking studies and arrangement interior, Jean-Pascal Lheureux practises in wood turning in different professional courses before opening his studio in 2004.

Inspired by the sea, fossils and shells weathered by time, since 25 years he creates sculptures and contemporary furniture, mainly in ash wood.

This is the first wood grain that catches the eye, he knows magnify with such delicacy that the color disappears under the torch, the patina or lacquer … to the point that some pieces seem to be made of ceramic.

The clean lines and contemporary spirit of his work allow him to exhibit his creations in France and around the world, from Paris to Courchevel, from New York to Brussels, particularly in galleries and during events around the universe of wood and sculpture.

The French Arts Factory presents the artworks of the artist on the occasion of the exhibition “Sublime materials” in October 2015.
