Biographical information/Professional background

Elisabeth Heim, Mosaïste flowers pressed, is awarded a diploma by the College of Modern Art of Paris. She is passionate for more than 40 years about flowers and strives to give them a second life.

Her technique of drying under press allows her to transform the flowers which preserve then color, flexibility and resistance.

Every flower brings her a new source of inspiration which appears in infinite collages. By creating her “fabrics” of flowers, Elisabeth gives free rein to her imagination and to her creativity.

Elisabeth Heim exposes her creations in numerous fairs of crafts and exhibitions in France (Paris, Lyon, Strasbourg, Grenoble, Toulouse, Nîmes.) and abroad (Brussels, The Hague, Innsbruck, Barcelona, Lausanne or Tokyo).

She obtained in particular the first prize in the international Exhibition of Flowers (Oshibana art) to Nagano ( Japan) in 1999 and the first prize in the space creation of the art fair « Artisa » of Grenoble in 2008 and 2009.

The French Arts Factory presents the artworks of the artist on the occasion of the exhibition “Flora ” in September 2016.
